Travel information to and from Monrovia around the Summit programme
Due to Liberia’s Presidential Elections on October 10, 2023, the availability of flight tickets and hotel accommodation will be under pressure towards the GPM Annual Summit in September. Therefore, an early flight- and hotel booking for the summit is advised.
Participants are advised to fly into Roberts International Airport, located just over an hour outside the city. Please find below some suggestions for (direct) flights from/to Monrovia around the Summit.
Flights from the EU to Monrovia and vv.
The best flight is the direct flight from Brussels to Monrovia on Friday 15 September (12.10PM) and from Monrovia to Brussels on Tuesday 20 September (8.40PM) or Sunday 18 September (8.40PM). Please note that there are no direct flights from Brussels to Monrovia on Thursday, Saturday, Monday, and from Monrovia to Brussels on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

There are flights from JFK to Monrovia through Accra (flight duration approximately 12 hrs) and through a transit in Brussels (flight duration will be approximately 18 hrs).
