Cities are where life really happens. It’s where we meet, where we work, where our families grow up and where, if we’re lucky, we feel at home. Because of that, when we get to work alongside others who care about the places we live, it feels less like a partnership and more like coming together around a table with people who truly understand.
That’s why we’re so happy to share that the Global Parliament of Mayors is a proud official partner of Smart City Expo World Congress once again! The expo is happening from the 3rd to the 5th of November 2026 in Barcelona.
For those who aren’t familiar, the Expo has been bringing the world together in Barcelona since 2011, and it has grown into the largest and most influential event dedicated to cities and urban innovation. Every year, leaders from governments, companies and organizations from every corner of the world gather there, united by one shared hope: a better future for the places we all call home.
It’s a mission that feels very close to our own heart. Our work has always been about giving mayors a voice, about creating the space where city leaders can listen, learn from one another, and find each other. And that’s exactly what the Expo does so beautifully. Its goal is to turn urban ambition into real solutions, real partnerships, and real collaboration; the kind of conversations and connections that help cities tackle the challenges they face today, and dream about the ones of tomorrow.
