The Global Parliament of Mayors is a governance body of, by and for mayors of all continents. It consists of a GPM Council, a Steering Committee and a Consultative Committee.
The structure of the GPM was determined by the founding mayors in September 2016 and will be expanded in the months and years to come as the GPM grows. The aim is to establish a global foundation that will provide a formal corporate structure to support the GPM. This foundation, initially administered by the City of The Hague, will remaining an autonomous entity governed by a Mayors only Steering Committee and a Consultative Committee.
