The Hague, November 2018 – It is with great pleasure that Global Parliament of Mayors announces the publication of the GPM Summit 2018 report. More than 80 mayors and city network leaders from six continents gathered in Bristol to convene on the topics of migration, urban security and health, reflecting the pressing issues of the world. The outcome of the debates between mayors led to the Bristol Declaration 2018.
The GPM report features details of the Bristol Declaration as well as summaries of the thematic sessions and side events. Marvin Rees, Mayor of Bristol and host city of the GPM Summit 2018, said: “At this year’s summit we have been able to achieve promises of real change. It has been an event of real political significance which has seen the voice of cities priortises and promoted on a global stage with the hope of finding real solutions to our shared challenges”
