The Hague, June 3, 2019 – On behalf of the Global Parliament of Mayors Advisory Committee it is an honour to announce Lord Wei as newest Member of the Advisory Committee. Lord Wei is expected to be of exceptional value to strengthen the focus on structural financial support for the GPM.
The Global Parliament of Mayors is pleased to announce Lord Nathanael Wei as the newest member of the Advisory Committee. Lord Wei is member of the House of Lords in the United Kingdom, where he is both the youngest and the only Chinese member. He is an accomplished social entrepreneur with a record in promoting social reform, including in cities around the world. Lord Wei brings tremendous energy and experience to the GPM, and will support the November 9-11 2019 Summit and expansion into Asia.
Lord Wei joins the GPM advisory committee at a time of steady growth. The advisory committee is co-chaired by Drs. Sheila Foster and Robert Muggah and includes an international team of former mayors, technical experts and leading scholars.
