Mayor Manuel de Araujo appointed GPM Executive Committee member

7 October 2022– The Global Parliament of Mayors (GPM) General Meeting has elected Mayor Manuel de Araujo, mayor of the city of Quelimane, Mozambique, to the Executive Committee. Mayor de Araujo is mandated for the next three year. He will be joining the mayors from Banjul (the Gambia), Braga (Portugal), Ghent (Belgium), Katowice (Poland), Mannheim (Germany), Monrovia (Liberia), and Rochester Hills (MI/USA). The Executive Committee is the governing board of the Global Parliament of Mayors and tasked with promoting democracy and fostering the self-governance of cities around the world.
