11 April 2019 – Today Mayor Neupane of Vyas Municipality and Mr Rajendra Bahadur Adhikari, Advisor, International Relations/Affairs Vyas Municipality, were warmly welcomed by Mayor Rees at the Bristol City Council. Both Mayors are part of the GPM Executive Committe and discussed among other topics the GPM development, provision of basic needs for citizens, public healthcare and daily city challenges. In addition, they emphasized the importance of Mayors collaboration and city-to-city relations all around the world. Special attention was given to Goal 6 of the UN SDGs that aims to ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
