The GPM congratulates Mayor Grace Mary Mugasa of Hoima

17 August 2020 – The GPM congratulates Mayor Grace Mary Mugasa of Hoima (Uganda) on the recent launch of the city status of Hoima as one of the 15 new cities in Uganda. Obtaining the city status is a major step for Hoima as the only oil city in the country to increase the prosperity of the city and its citizens.

The GPM  is proud to work together with Mayor Mugasa and the city of Hoima as one of the founding members of the Global Parliament of Mayors in 2016. Mayor Mugasa is currently the 2^nd Vice Chair of the GPM Daily Board.

The GPM is confident that under the leadership of Mayor Mugasa the city of Hoima will make an important step towards a prosperous future for its citizens and wishes her and the City Council of Hoima continued success, good health and happiness.
