The GPM welcomes Mayor Michaël Delafosse as new GPM member

25 November, 2021 – The GPM welcomes Mayor Michaël Delafosse of Montpellier, France, as new member to the Global Parliament of Mayors.

Mayor Delafosse was elected mayor of Montpellier and president of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole in 2020. Montpellier is the eighth-largest city in France, an ancient city that has become one of the largest international metropolises.

Mayor Delafosse is proud to become GPM member and said: “Only by sharing our ideas, experiences and by uniting the voices of our cities will we be able to overcome the global challenges we collectively face”.
