July, 2022 – The GPM is proud to welcome Mayor Olga Ditsie of Jwaneng (Botswana) as newest member of the GPM. Mayor Ditsie advocates for female representation in politics and inspires many women looking to succeed in the rough and tumble cutthroat world. Previously, Mayor Ditsie has served as Deputy Mayor of Jwaneng.
Jwaneng is a town located in the Southern District of Botswana and has 19,000 inhabitants. The town was formed around the Jwaneng diamond mine, considered the richest in the world in terms of its content of gem-quality diamonds.
